Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled, reliable and outgoing Plumber to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and be capable of performing a variety of plumbing tasks, including installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems. This role requires hands-on experience and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A commitment to safety and quality workmanship is essential. Responsibilities * Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures in residential and commercial settings. * Diagnose plumbing issues using appropriate tools and techniques. * Perform remodeling tasks related to plumbing installations, ensuring compliance with local codes and regulations. * Operate power tools and equipment safely while performing plumbing tasks. * Thread pipes using appropriate techniques for various applications. * Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters and electricians, to complete projects efficiently. * Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential issues before they become major problems. * Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the duration of each project. * Lift heavy materials as required for installations or repairs. Qualifications * Proven experience as a plumber or in a similar role within the construction or maintenance industry. * Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various plumbing systems. * Familiarity with basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations. * Experience with pipe threading and the use of power tools is highly desirable. * Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for installations or repairs. * A maintenance person background is beneficial for additional support tasks related to plumbing projects. * Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship on every job.
