The Business Development Director will be responsible for growing membership through area businesses and Select Employee Groups as well as through Community Outreach, virtual and online meetings, Financial Literacy Programs within the communities the credit union operates. Primary responsibilities include demonstrating leadership in support of the credit union's vision and mission, ensuring members are provided with exceptional service, the achievement of business development goals, tracking the profitability of each SEG relationship and identify/solicit potential new membership and referral opportunities. Business Development Directors support and execute the strategic plan for outreach and penetration of the Baltimore County field of membership expansion and participate in various business development projects. This position complies with all federal, state, and organizational policies, procedures, and processes, including (but not limited to) the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC). Maintains confidentiality of current, past, and potential members and their personal and financial information. * Requirements: High school diploma or GED. Some College is required ; College Degree is desired. Two years of experience is required ; Three years is desired. Valid Driver's License. Computer Knowledge includes Email, Internet, Word, Excel, and Access database. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems. Strong knowledge of the business and organizational makeup of Baltimore County with an established networking presence and relationships within the Baltimore County business community.
