JOB TITLE : OUTSIDE JOB DESCRIPTION Packaging supply manufacturer, importer and distributor seeking an experienced FULL-TIME proactive salesperson in the ever-growing industries of packaging supplies, custom packaging, moving & storage, and safety wear. Requires an enthusiastic personality to manage existing customers and bring in new ones. Bilingual is a plus. Basic typing, computer, mathematic, and communication skills required. Involves managing current accounts along with cold calling potential new leads.

Compensation

rate will vary based on work experience (base salary + commission). Training provided. Must have previous sales experience and be knowledgeable of industrial packaging products. Fast-paced environment requires quick thinking and superior people skills. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Volume selling to new/old customers via phone, fax, email, and in-person.
• Prepare orders in a fast-paced environment.
• Provide knowledgeable answers to inquiries about product, pricing, and availability.
• Work with internal departments to meet customer's needs.
• Cold calling and field visits to build a strong sales pipeline.
• Manage and maintain accounts by follow up and building strong rapport.
• Submit quotes for quantity and custom orders.
• Cold calling, networking, and lead capturing
• Some travel required.
• MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• Associate's degree preferred.
• 1 to 2 years of successful packaging supplies industry sales experience (bubble, cushioning, corrugated stock and custom boxes, stretch wrap, packaging tapes, industrial tapes, poly bags etc.)
• Reliable transportation.
• Previous experience at a packaging company
• Bilingual is a definite plus - Fluent in English/Spanish (read, speak, write) BENEFITS
