Hoover Treated Wood Products, Inc.(HTWP), the premier manufacturer of fire- retardant treated wood, is seeking a Regional Business Manager/Florida. This position is responsible for growing profitable sales through HTWP's network of wholesale distribution partners and other sales channels. Responsibilities * Create, present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers * Prospect and contact potential customers * Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadline * Resolve customer inquiries and complaints * Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of latest developments * Conducting Product Knowledge sessions in the field * Participate in trade shows * Surveying Distributors, Wholesalers, Retailers, Drywall Supply Houses, and the occasional job site * Gauging and reporting fire retardant treated wood volume and market share * Promoting HTWP's products using Design and Construction Guide on sales calls * Common uses * Technical information * Promoting Hoover stocking Distributors to Retailers in all markets Qualifications * Bachelor's degree with 5 years of outside sales success is strongly preferred * Knowledge of commodity lumber and plywood markets * Building product channel sales and lumber or plywood sales experience is preferred. * Ability to build rapport with clients * Strong computer skills * Must possess the technical acumen to to convey the varied product and service benefits that define the HTWP brand. * Demonstrated critical analysis skills * Deadline & detail oriented * Strong negotiation skills * Excellent communication & presentation skills * Excellent organizational skills * Self-motivated and success driven Requirements * Willingness to travel (overnight) extensively across the state of Florida. * Self-driven and able to work remotely. * Background check and drug testing Company Description Hoover Treated Wood Products, Inc.
