Are you a confident, experienced sales professional with a sharp design eye and deep roots in the construction industry?Arkblu Surfaces is looking for a dynamic Design & Sales Consultant who can hit the ground running, measuring, designing, selling, and leading projects from concept to close. At Arkblu Surfaces , we specialize in delivering high-end, custom interior finishes, cabinets, countertops, tile, hardwood, decorative plaster, and more. Based in Kirkland, we provide both design and installation services to homeowners, designers, and contractors across the greater Seattle area. Learn more about us at: [please apply online] This is a full-cycle, client-facing role that blends technical design with consultative sales. You'll own your projects from initial client interaction through design development, quoting, and closing. You'll serve as a key representative of Arkblu's cabinetry offering, driving new business, supporting our contractor partners, and helping shape the growth of this division. Success in this position requires strong cabinet layout skills, project estimation experience, and the ability to build and manage lasting client relationships. Key Responsibilities * Conduct on-site visits to measure and assess spaces for cabinetry installations * Create accurate, detailed cabinet layouts using 2020 Design software * Present design concepts and material selections to homeowners, builders, and designers * Prepare comprehensive quotes and proposals based on client selections and measurements * Coordinate closely with internal teams to ensure project specifications, pricing, and timelines are met * Serve as a primary point of contact for your clients throughout the project lifecycle * Maintain detailed project documentation, follow up on open items, and manage changes efficiently * Cultivate and maintain relationships with contractors and builders to drive repeat business Qualifications * Minimum of 7 years of experience in cabinetry design, kitchen & bath sales, or residential construction sales * Proficient with 2020 Design and experienced in creating cabinet layouts and elevation drawings * Demonstrated success in a client-facing sales role with a strong close rate * Existing relationships with local builders, designers, or contractors are highly preferred * High attention to detail and ability to read and interpret plans, specs, and job site conditions * Strong communication and organizational skills, with a proactive approach to follow-up and problem-solving * Ability to manage your own schedule and work independently * Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required Compensation & Benefits * Full time position * Competitive base salary plus performance-based commission * Mileage reimbursement for job-related travel * Paid time off and holidays * Opportunity to grow into a senior sales or business development role In accordance with Washington state law, the estimated annual earnings for this role (base plus commission) range from $100,000 to $125,000, depending on experience and performance.
