Catering and Events Manager Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Catering Sales and Events Manager to focus on Weddings and Social Events. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales management skills and a passion for delivering exceptional service. This role involves managing client relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the successful execution of all catering events. The Catering Manager Sales and Events Manager will play a crucial role in driving business growth through effective account management and upselling strategies. Responsibilities * Develop and implement catering sales strategies to achieve revenue targets. * Manage all aspects of catering operations, including planning, execution, and post-event analysis. * Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through effective communication and follow-up. * Negotiate contracts with clients to secure profitable catering agreements. * Analyze market trends and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement. * Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure menu offerings meet client expectations. * Oversee the logistics of catering events, including staffing, equipment rental, and setup. * Utilize technology sales tools such as Salesforce to track leads, manage accounts, and report on sales performance. * Provide training and support to team members on best practices in direct sales and customer service. Requirements * Proven experience in sales management within the catering or hospitality industry. * Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively. * Experience in Wedding and Social Event sales is highly desireable. * Proficiency in upselling techniques to maximize revenue opportunities. * Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM software for account management.
