Sales Associate We're a family owned 4th generation shoe store in downtown Collinsville. We specialize in a sit-and-fit experience, helping customers get sized for the correct fitting footwear. We are primarily a Red Wing Shoe Store offering a wide range of steel toe footwear, but associate will be trained to assist with a range of brands we carry. The sales associate should be able to work at least Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday Roles and Daily Tasks: - Recommend different safety shoes for each customers specific job - Provide a positive attitude and willingness to learn about our products - Correctly organize stock according to specific sizes and widths - Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel - Be able to type at a moderate to fast speed to help with fast checkout Ideally the candidate will have at least 2 years of retail, sales, and/or customer service experience. * 50% Employee discount on all products in store * Flexible schedule * Opportunity for full-time after probationary period * PTO Christmas/Holliday Bonus Job Type: Part-time Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour Benefits: * Employee discount * Flexible schedule * Paid time off Shift: * 8 hour shift Shift availability: * Day Shift (Preferred) Work Location: In person
