We are looking for a tire and lube technician that cares about customer service and want to achieve a high level of success. This job is a stepping stone to become a certified Technician and has a high potential for growth within our company. SUMMARY This entry level position will be responsible for oil changes, vehicle inspections, tire rotation and other light maintenance work, while providing the access to Factory training that will prepare you to move into Level 2, and work all the way up to Master Technician. This could be the start of a great career in the field of automotive service. What We Offer: * Opportunity for internal promotion and career growth with company * Competitive pay plan * Full benefits including voluntary short and long term disability, dental, health, vision, medical Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: * Adheres to express lube guidelines. * Performs lube, oil and filter changes by draining and replacing oil and filter. * Reports all necessary repairs to service advisor for the Inspection. * Installs completed LOF reminder sticker in vehicle. * Checks battery, tire air pressure, windshield fluid, transmission fluid and power steering fluid levels and refills as needed. * Checks coolant level and refills as necessary. * Ensures that vehicle is clean and free of fluid residue or fingerprints. * Checks fluid level prior to release of vehicle to ensure proper levels. * Maintains CSI at or above Company standards * Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area * Participates in required training * Records all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system * Follows Safeguards rules and regulations. * Demonstrates the Company's Core Values * Complies with Company policies and procedures * Observes all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties. * Other duties as assigned * Providing quality, thorough, & detailed work. * Treat all co-workers and customers with dignity and respect. * Ensures the customer's needs are understood.
