Job Title:*Hotel Group Sales Manager Job Summary: The Hotel Group Sales Manager is responsible for generating group business for the hotel through proactive sales efforts, effective relationship management, and strategic planning. This role involves identifying and securing group bookings, managing client relationships, and collaborating with hotel departments to ensure an exceptional guest experience for group clients. Key Responsibilities: * Proactively source and secure group business (e.g., corporate meetings, conferences, weddings, social events) through cold calling, networking, attending industry events, and following up on leads. * Prepare proposals and negotiate contracts with clients to meet revenue goals. * Maintain existing client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals. * Conduct site tours for prospective clients and communicate the hotel's offerings and services. * Collaborate with the Events and Catering team to ensure the successful execution of group bookings. * Forecast group sales revenue and report performance against budget and KPIs. * Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system. * Stay current on market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities. * Represent the hotel at trade shows, networking events, and sales missions. * Work with the revenue management team to optimize pricing strategies for group business. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience). * 2-5 years of hotel sales experience, preferably in group or corporate sales. * Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building long-term client relationships. * Strong knowledge of sales techniques and hospitality industry trends. * Proficiency with hotel CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Willingness to travel and attend events as needed.
