Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated, hands-on Account Executive/Manager hybrid to grow and support accounts within the construction, industrial, and manufacturing sectors. This role combines traditional sales with account management duties, including customer deliveries and bin stocking. The ideal candidate is a relationship-builder who enjoys being in the field, understands the fastener industry, and is comfortable wearing many hats--including being in the office regularly to coordinate orders and logistics. Key Responsibilities: * Develop and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with existing and prospective customers. * Grow assigned accounts by identifying new sales opportunities and deepening service relationships. * Handle customer-specific stocking programs, including bin management and scheduled delivery runs. * Coordinate order fulfillment, pickup, and delivery logistics. * Conduct regular in-person visits to customer sites to ensure satisfaction and support needs. * Serve as a liaison between internal teams and clients to ensure timely and accurate service. * Provide insight into industry trends, customer feedback, and market changes. Qualifications: * Minimum 2 years of experience selling fasteners or in a closely related industrial sales environment. * Proven customer service and relationship-building skills in a B2B environment. * Comfortable with routine travel throughout Metro Detroit; reliable transportation required. * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially in managing physical inventories. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Tech-savvy with basic proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office. * High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical or sales education is a plus. Preferred: * Experience in fastener or industrial distribution with bin-stocking responsibilities. * Prior use of company vehicle or delivery coordination.
