Job Overview We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented sales associate to join our dynamic team and train under our current front end manager. The ultimate goal is for the associate to assume buying and merchandising responsibilities for one or both of our locations. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the visual appeal of our retail space, ensuring that products are displayed effectively to maximize sales. This position requires a blend of artistic vision and practical organizational skills, making it essential for candidates to have a strong background in retail sales and customer service. Duties * Develop and implement visually appealing product displays that attract customers and promote sales. * Organize merchandise on the sales floor, ensuring items are clean, well-stocked, and properly priced. * Collaborate with store management to create promotional displays and seasonal setups. * Travel with management team to gift and toy markets. * Maintain an understanding of current trends in interior design and visual merchandising to enhance store aesthetics. * Provide exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers with inquiries and product selections. * Monitor inventory levels, restock items as needed, and ensure the sales floor is tidy and organized. * Analyze sales data to determine the effectiveness of merchandising strategies and make adjustments accordingly. Requirements * Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers. * Knowledge of visual design principles and interior design concepts is a plus. * Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining product displays. * Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. * Familiarity with pricing strategies and inventory management practices. * A creative mindset with an eye for aesthetics that can translate into effective merchandising strategies.
