In need of part or full time mechanic! IF YOU'RE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH NOT GETTING ENOUGH FLAT RATE HOURS, THIS JOB PAYS STRAIGHT TIME. Responsibilities: - Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements. - Diagnose and repair vehicle issues, such as engine problems, electrical malfunctions, and brake system failures. - Conduct inspections and tests to identify potential problems and ensure vehicles are in proper working condition. - Use diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues. - Perform alignments and tire services to ensure proper handling and tire wear. - Repair and replace faulty components, such as belts, hoses, spark plugs, and brake pads. - Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed on vehicles. Skills: - Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems. - Proficient in using power tools and diagnostic equipment to diagnose and repair vehicle issues. - Ability to perform basic maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and tire rotations. - Skilled in diagnosing complex mechanical problems and providing effective solutions. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with customers regarding vehicle issues and repairs.
