Job Summary We are seeking a creative, relationship focused, detail-oriented Landscape Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for landscape architecture and design, with the ability to transform outdoor spaces into beautiful, functional environments. This role involves collaborating with clients, understanding their vision, and utilizing technical skills to create innovative landscape designs that enhance the outdoor living spaces of their homes. Duties * Develop comprehensive landscape designs that meet client specifications and environmental considerations. * Draft detailed plans using design software such as Pro Landscape Design. 3d experience is a plus. * Conduct site assessments to evaluate soil conditions, drainage, and existing vegetation, equipment access and grade * Create irrigation plans that ensure efficient water usage and plant health. * Present design concepts to clients and incorporate feedback into final plans. * Identify clients' objectives and cost threshold to ensure our designs and sales strategy do not price us out of work. * Develop relationships, and communicate our high standards for quality and reliability. * Work with distributors to select the right materials for each project, and their availability. * Coordinate with Superintendent, schedule projects and material deliveries. * Schedule consultations and sales opportunities. * Sell landscapes at an effective rate. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, or a related field, and/or (preferably field experience.) * Proficiency in design software including Pro Landscape or other CAD based program. * Strong understanding of landscape construction practices and principles. * Excellent drafting skills with an eye for detail in hardscape design. * concepts as they relate to landscaping projects is a plus. * Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. * Strong problem-solving skills and creativity in design solutions. * Previous experience in landscape design or related internships is preferred. * Sales experience is preferred.
