Solar Energy Consultant Overview 3rd ROC Solar specializes in solar energy solutions in the Western New York and Finger Lakes markets. We design and install both residential and commercial solar energy systems. We are seeking a dynamic Energy Consultant to join our team. As an Energy Consultant, you will play a crucial role in promoting energy efficiency solutions and renewable energy options to clients. This is an entry level position with room for career development. Duties: - Schedule consultations with clients to assess their energy needs and recommend suitable products or services - Utilize sales techniques to promote energy-efficient products and services - Develop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure customer satisfaction and retention - Collaborate with the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets - Stay informed about industry trends and developments in energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies Qualifications: - Ability to effectively communicate with customers from diverse backgrounds - Strong leadership skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team - Able to stand and walk for 3 hours at a time - Reliable transportation is a must - Fluency in multiple languages is a plus - Proven experience in customer service and sales, preferably in an outside sales environment is a plus This position offers competitive commission opportunities with a base rate and the chance to make a positive impact on the environment.
