We specialize in installing energy-efficient retrofits for commercial refrigeration, which are subsidized up to 90% by utility companies. Our mission is to help businesses in the foodservice, convenience store, and retail sectors save money while being more sustainable. Position Overview: We're looking for an enthusiastic and driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team in the Lakewood-Atlantic City area. In this role, you'll be responsible for generating new business, managing leads, and closing sales in the energy efficiency space. You'll be supported by our back-office staff and sales manager, but will be expected to work independently to prospect, present, and close deals with business owners and decision-makers. Key Responsibilities: * Prospecting: Visit 10-20 businesses per day, seeking new opportunities for energy efficiency upgrades. * Lead Management: Manage and track your leads through our CRM system and stay organized with your pipeline. * Sales: Close 2-4 deals per day, directly engaging with decision-makers to secure contracts for energy-efficient retrofits. * Installation Monitoring: Ensure smooth handoff and installation of upgrades after closing the sale, ensuring customer satisfaction and project success. What We 're Looking For: * Experience: Prior sales experience is preferred, but not required. While a background in refrigeration is a plus, it is not necessary to succeed in this role. * Communication Skills: You must be a strong communicator and comfortable building rapport with business owners and stakeholders quickly. * Self-Starter: You should be motivated, proactive, and able to work independently while managing your time effectively. * Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using a CRM and project management tools to manage your sales pipeline. * Vehicle: You will need your own vehicle for daily visits to customer locations.
