Smart Home and Technology Sales Representative WAVE Designs is seeking a highly motivated Outside Sales Representative to join our team. We are a growing and established A/V integrator providing custom installations for residential and commercial properties throughout Puget Sound. This position will increase sales by developing and maintaining relationships with customers, builders, architects, interior designers, and project managers in residential and business markets. The right candidate will have a strong knowledge (or past direct experience with) audio/video products, be a self-starter, have excellent organizational and customer service skills, communicate well with prospective customers, supervisors, and co-workers, and excel in a team environment. Sales Responsibilities * Prospect, identify, and establish contact with potential customers, be they builders, architects, interior designers, or homeowners directly. * Schedule and perform product demonstrations with potential customers * Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers * Create estimates, invoices & change orders * Attend industry tradeshows to identify potential sales leads and make meaningful connections with existing clients, vendor partners, and distributors. * Follow industry trends to identify new opportunities for potential sales * Recommend marketing strategies to target a specific region or demographic * Generate and submit sales reports to management Job Requirements * Strong sales background with at least five years' experience. * Sales experience in the consumer or commercial electronics field is preferred but not required. * Sales experience in the residential or commercial construction field is preferred but not required. * Experience with selling and designing the following types of systems is preferred: Lighting Control, Automation and Integration, Motorized Shading, Home Theaters, Networks, Distributed Audio and Video Systems * Have a keen sense of technology * Requires a mix of office and fieldwork Job Benefits * A professional and fun environment * 401K with 4% company matching * Fully Paid Health, Dental and Vision Insurance * PTO & Paid Holidays * Company phone or compensation * Product Discounts * Job Type: Full-time Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Cell phone reimbursement * Company car * Dental insurance * Employee discount * Health insurance * Mileage reimbursement * Paid time off * Paid training * Retirement plan * Travel reimbursement * Vision insurance Compensation Package: * Bonus opportunities * Commission pay * Performance bonus * Uncapped commission * Yearly bonus Schedule: * Monday to Friday Ability to Commute: * Mountlake Terrace, WA 98043 (Required) Ability to Relocate: * Mountlake Terrace, WA 98043: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
