Full description of the position

Looking for seasonal sales associates for our thruway farm stands. Paid for entre day, 7:30am-5:30pm, plus commission and paid training. Must be comfortable lifting 40 lbs, comfortable with highway driving, and have a smart phone. Valid driver's license is required, along with a driving abstract, but you do not need your own vehicle. Our farm is located in Brockport, but our stands are along the NY Thruway in the Rochester area. Job entails meeting at the farm in the morning, loading up company vehicle with goods and driving to thruway rest stop, setting up and caring for your stand each day, then tearing down and driving back to the farm. Season runs June until the end of October, and you will have an opportunity to return next season if we enjoy your work. Caring for the stand includes inciting conversation, telling customers about fruit and other goods that we sell, setting up displays, keeping area clean, and making sales. You will have with a cash pouch, and square reader for accepting payments. Preferred motivated and creative people- keeping stand neat and appealing is important! Preferred sales and/or customer service experience, but we have no problem training. Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal Pay: From $17.00 per hour
