Our culture, passion for quality, and the simple "customer comes first" philosophy ensures that clients can depend on us to continuously deliver on the promises we make. *Job Title - *Government Account Executive (SLED) Job Summary: The Government Account Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth by developing and managing relationships with U.S. government agencies and departments, including those under the General Services Administration (GSA). This role focuses on identifying sales opportunities within state, local, and education (SLED) crafting and presenting tailored solutions, and managing the end-to-end sales process for government contracts. The Government Account Executive will engage with decision-makers, manage complex government procurement processes, and work closely with internal teams to ensure compliance with GSA and SLED requirements and local government regulations. This role requires a deep understanding of government procurement cycles, contract vehicles, and relevant regulations, as well as a proactive approach to fostering partnerships that align with both client objectives and organizational goals. Compensation Structure: * Base Salary Range $75K - $90K. (3-5 years' experience) * Competitive commissions on all contract receipts. * No commission cap: the sky is the limit! Key Responsibilities: * Drive Government Sales: Actively promote and sell the company's products/services to federal, state, and local and education government agencies through GSA schedules and other government contract vehicles. * Manage SLED Contracts: Oversee the SLED contract lifecycle, including initial bid submission, pricing, compliance, and renewal processes. Ensure all transactions adhere to GSA standards and regulations. * Build SLED Client Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in local government agencies to identify their needs, propose solutions, and secure contracts. * Develop Sales Strategy: Craft and execute a targeted sales strategy to meet or exceed revenue goals for government sales, leveraging knowledge of the public sector and government priorities. * Coordinate with Internal Teams: Work closely with product, compliance, and finance teams to ensure accurate delivery, reporting, and invoicing for government contracts. * Market and Industry Insight: Stay informed about changes in government procurement regulations, SLED, GSA updates, and relevant industry trends to ensure competitiveness and compliance. * Reporting and Forecasting: Provide regular updates on sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts to sales leadership. Qualifications: * Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years' sales experience, with at least two (2) years in government or SLED sales. * Strong understanding of SLED, GSA schedules, FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation), and government procurement cycles. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively. * Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to interact with diverse government stakeholders. * Demonstrated ability to analyse and respond to government RFPs, RFQs, and other procurement documentation. * Education: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred. * Self-Motivated: Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and remain focused in a fast-paced environment.
