Job Title - Powersports Salesperson Department - Sales Supervisor - General Manager Pay Class - Hourly + Commission

Duties and Responsibilities

:

• Sell new and pre-owned recreational vehicles and grounds maintenance equipment
• Establish a buying time line and ask for the sale
• Introduce customers to each department as required
• Log potential leads into dealership's customer relationship management system daily
• Provide prompt, dependable, high quality service to customers (internal and external)
• Maintain clean and efficient facilities, report any variances
• Ensure customers are properly qualified for needs, wants, and ability to buy.
• Motivate customers to purchase and be available when needed
• Provide a detailed overview of the specific models to customers
• Maintain showroom environment, including tagging and proper display of vehicles
• Acquire product knowledge of competitive brands
• Greet customers immediately, in a courteous and friendly manner
• Handle telephone transactions quickly and courteously
• Ensure cross sales of parts, accessories and clothing

Requirements

:

• Qualified Salesperson must have a proven track record in a selling environment.
• Must have the ability to get along with a broad customer base.
• Must be a high energy level person with a passion for powersports.
• Must be able to work effectively with all areas of the dealership and help others when necessary.
• Valid drivers license required, motorcycle endorsement preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and demonstrated "closing skills".
• Knowledge and experience with sales of powersports, or the demonstrated ability to quickly learn them Required experience:Commitments:Physical

Requirements

:Job Types: Full-time, Commission

• Motor vehicle or retail sales: 1 year
• Handle customers reasonably, showing empathy and a positive attitude, and demonstrate our commitment to being a friendly and helpful dealer.
• Maintain superior customer service behavior for all personnel by maintaining positive relationships with customers and employees
• Remain current with all sales department training available by reviewing and completing Recognition Programs, and other related training material.
• Be prompt and available for flexible scheduling.
• Be honest and fair in all business dealings.
• Demonstrate an interest in growing the sales business.
• Focus on quality.
• Ability to stand and walk the sales floor most of the day.
