An Asian Food Wholesaler and Distributor is seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Representative to join their team. This role is perfect for someone with strong interpersonal skills, a passion for sales, and an interest in Asian food culture. You will be responsible for maintaining and expanding relationships with customers and vendors, presenting new products and sales performance reviews, and conducting market research on trends, products, and competitors. Proficiency in Korean, or Chinese preferred. Key Responsibilities * Conduct outside sales and build lasting relationships with customers and vendors. * Deliver presentations on new items, sales performance, and other relevant business topics. * Stay up to date on industry trends, product offerings, and competitor activities. * Travel for business events, including weekends as needed. * Monitor customer invoices and credit to ensure accuracy and efficiency. * Perform other related duties as assigned. * Perform tasks requiring intermittent sitting, standing, walking, and lifting 25-30 pounds, along with close and distance vision and hearing capabilities. * Be able to travel up to 50% including overnight travel. Qualifications * Education & Experience: o Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field o College degree or equivalent work experience * Skills: o Strong database management capabilities o Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) o Excellent communication skills in English o Familiarity with Japanese and Asian food culture preferred. o Valid drivers license with clean records * Additional Qualifications: o Proficiency in Korean, or Chinese preferred o Dependable work ethic with strong attention to detail o Customer service-oriented mindset o Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build professional relationships. o Ability to maintain high accuracy while working under tight deadlines. _Activ8 Recruitment & Solutions / Renaissance Resources Inc. has been a trusted leader in North American recruiting for Japanese businesses for over 25 years.
