Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. Duties * Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products that meet their needs. * Provide knowledgeable answers to customer inquiries regarding products and services. * Operate cash registers, handle cash transactions, and ensure accuracy in cash handling. * Maintain an organized stockroom and ensure shelves are well-stocked and visually appealing. * Assist in inventory management, including receiving shipments and conducting stock counts. * Supervise junior staff members as needed, providing guidance and support to enhance team performance. * Promote sales through effective merchandising techniques and upselling strategies. * Adhere to store policies and procedures while maintaining a clean and safe working environment. Skills * Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. * Strong supervising abilities to lead a team effectively when required. * Proficient phone etiquette for handling customer calls professionally. * Proven sales skills with the ability to meet or exceed sales targets. * Experience with cash handling and operating cash registers accurately. * Knowledge of stock management practices to maintain inventory levels efficiently. * Bilingual capabilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers. * Basic math skills are essential for accurate transactions and inventory management. * Familiarity with retail math concepts is advantageous for analyzing sales data.
