Full description of the position
Job Summary: KASCO is recruiting a hands-on Director of Strategic Account Sales reporting to the President. As the Director, you are responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans and expanding market share primarily in North America with collaboration in Canada, Mexico, United Kingdom, and Germany. You will also coach and mentor a team of five+ sales associates. The keys to your success include the ability to negotiate agreements, exceed assigned targets for profitable sales volume, implement strategic plans to produce forecasted revenue, increase profitability by managing product mix and pricing strategies, and sustain excellent levels of customer service through customer engagement. Your Job Responsibilities: * Develop and implement strategic plan to achieve sales goals globally * Continuous networking and collaborating across organization * Demonstrate value in KASCO'S culture while driving accountability * Cultivate a world-class sales and marketing team to develop and maintain an accurate forecast to use for performance goals * Identify new prospects and make sales calls for KASCO's existing product lines * Recommend new markets and products to leverage KASCO's manufacturing capabilities; perform market research; develop related marketing plan including forward projections and implementation * Implement methods to effectively analyze and monitor the industry, business environment, and competitors to then expand customer base * Manage customer profitability, product line profitability, and working capital * Establish sales policies and pricing strategies within guidelines established by the President * Negotiate contracts with customers and agents concerning pricing, exclusivity, etc. * Collaborate with Mobile Distribution & Service to solicit business for route distributors and other distributors who may be co-marketing to common customer base * Ensure spending stays within budget restrictions * Prepare monthly sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed expansion * Develop pricing strategies that maximize profitability and support a wide range of distributors and mobile distribution end customers * Support sales team with customers' after-sales to resolve any issues and provide ongoing support Your Background & Experience: To be successful in this role, you will need the following: * Bachelor's degree required * 7+ years sales experience with proven track record of results * Experience selling and working with commercial/light industrial OEMs * Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to develop and maintain strong customer relations * Strong project management skills; organized and systematic * Able to travel (up to 50%) * New business sales experience with the responsibility of developing strategic sales plans * Experience in both medium and large-sized entrepreneurial company environments * Record of providing leadership and delivering value * Unquestionable integrity and ethics * Thrives in an entrepreneurial growth environment; not overly reliant on a traditional sales structure * Experience in traditional distributor models, mobile distribution, and industrial cutting products preferred * Strong analytical skills to create profitable growth strategies and experience in developing a complementary e-commerce model * Self-motivated; works well under pressure and with limited direction * Collaborative team player; works well with all departments, customers, and vendors * Professional demeaner at all times and with all levels; maintains positive attitude and good judgement * Results oriented; overcomes obstacles and complete assignments in a timely manner * Adaptable to ever-changing market conditions * Advanced in MS Office Suite Requirements: Your Background & Experience: To be successful in this role, you will need the following: * Bachelor's degree required * 7+ years sales experience with proven track record of results * Experience selling and working with commercial/light industrial OEMs * Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to develop and maintain strong customer relations * Strong project management skills; organized and systematic * Able to travel (up to 50%) * New business sales experience with the responsibility of developing strategic sales plans * Experience in both medium and large-sized entrepreneurial company environments * Record of providing leadership and delivering value * Unquestionable integrity and ethics * Thrives in an entrepreneurial growth environment; not overly reliant on a traditional sales structure * Experience in traditional distributor models, mobile distribution, and industrial cutting products preferred * Strong analytical skills to create profitable growth strategies and experience in developing a complementary e-commerce model * Self-motivated; works well under pressure and with limited direction * Collaborative team player; works well with all departments, customers, and vendors * Professional demeaner at all times and with all levels; maintains positive attitude and good judgement * Results oriented; overcomes obstacles and complete assignments in a timely manner * Adaptable to ever-changing market conditions * Advanced in MS Office Suite Compensation: TBDKASCO LLC
