Sales Associate for Low Voltage Installation including Building Automation, Data, Security. C and P Automation are currently searching for a Sales Associate with experience in Building Automation and HVAC controls. The ideal candidate should have experience with Low Voltage, HVAC systems and Controls. However, we are willing to train the right person. Some travel is a requirement for this position as we cover the SE, and some projects require a site visit to walk projects and in person meetings for sales calls. We install low voltage control wiring for the following and other contractors. This is just a sample of who we service. * Johnson Controls * Siemens * ALC * Alerton * Distich * JACE / Tridium * Trane * Delta Responsibilities Include * Maintain a customer base within the assigned territory. (Most are established customers) * Expand the business by bringing in new customers. * Performs technical review of plans, specs, and other pertinent documents. * Prepare a formal proposal and cost estimate based on the project requirements and provided documents. * Obtain 3 party material quotes from vendors. * Work with the internal estimating team for support on large scale projects. Qualifications Include * Associate degree in electrical, Mechanical or other related HVAC controls field experience preferred, although candidates with a combination of directly related low voltage systems experience and education (HS Diploma or GED Equivalent a minimum requirement) will also be considered. * 2 years of Sales/Engineer experience are desired. * Knowledge of automation systems, HVAC mechanical systems, electrical concepts, and building controls and operations preferred. * Skilled in customer facing meetings face to face. * Able to make cold calls to new potential customers is required. * Proficient typing skills and in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, and Bluebeam . * Excellent verbal and written communication and customer relation skills.
