Location: 3319 Plank Rd, Baton Rouge, LA, 70805 Hours: Mon - Sat 8 am - 3 pm OR 2 pm-7 pm Sun - 10:30 am - 5 pm Two weeks of direct training, thereafter, will be two weeks of doing the actual sales with constant feedback on points of improvement for a total of a month of training. Assist customers by answering questions, presenting products and services and checking for stock and availability. Role and Responsibilities * Sell products and services to new or established customers which are typically walk-in opportunities * Attend special training on products/services to understand the product features, trends or styles of the products/services * Assist customers by answering questions, presenting products and services and checking for stock availability * Process payments for products or services * May maintain customer preference records * Ensuring the store looks neat and clean by keeping it organized and cleaning when necessary * Opening the store on time and following appropriate opening procedures * Balancing at the end of shift and completing the necessary closing steps before leaving for the day * Assists in soliciting new customers, including but not limited to social media/ online marketing, and promoting the brand inside and outside the store. Working Conditions * Able to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist and reach on a daily basis * Able to lift and move up to 20 lbs. pounds occasionally * Able to stand for extended periods of time * Hours 29 to 44 hours per week * Ability to work varied hours/days * Ability to freely access all areas of the store, including the selling floor, stock area, and register area * Process information and merchandise through computer systems and POS register system Requirements/ Experience: * Customer facing/ Retail Sales: 1 year (Required) * Bilingual is preferred: English is a must, and Spanish is a plus Responding to COVID-19, to keep our employees as safe as possible at work, we are sanitizing, disinfecting, or cleaning procedures in place Note: By sending your resume to us for consideration, you agree to receive text messages from our recruiting team.
