Sales Associate (000097) Position Objective: * Major responsibilities include working the sales floor and ringing up customer purchases, while providing excellent customer service as part of a dynamic team, assisting with back office duties and the general upkeep/appearance of the shops. * Impactful Work: Be part of a team that supports the mission of LHAAMC. * Positive Environment: Work in a supportive and collaborative setting with a focus on excellent customer service. * Growth Opportunities: Gain valuable experience and skills in retail management and customer service. Essential Job Duties: * Customer Service Excellence : Provide outstanding service to our customers, including patients, families, staff, and visitors. You'll assist with in-store purchases, phone orders and ensure a positive and memorable shopping experience. * Sales & Inventory Management: Operate the POS (Point of Sale), handle daily transactions that include credit card, gift card and phone orders. Keep our shelves stocked and organized and help design attractive displays to entice customers. * Team Collaboration : Work closely with the Manager and other team members to ensure smooth daily operations. * Housekeeping Duties: Keep the sales floor and stock areas clean and orderly. Receive, check in, and price new merchandise promptly. Educational/Experience Requirements: * High School Diploma or GED * Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively. * Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs., and perform repetitive movements such as stooping and bending. * Personal Traits: A friendly, courteous demeanor with a knack for problem-solving and a passion for helping others.
