Full description of the position
Description: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales and Marketing Assistant to provide administrative and data-related support to our marketing and sales teams. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in product management, marketing initiatives, and competitive analysis.
Responsibilities
:
- Assist with adding new products and updating existing products in the inventory management system.
- Track discontinued products and ensure they are updated accordingly in the system.
- Organize and maintain product-related data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Collaborate with the team to implement and monitor promotional offers within the inventory system, ensuring they are accurately reflected.
- Support the marketing team in managing, updating, and executing promotional campaigns across digital and physical platforms.
- Conduct pricing comparisons to ensure our products remain competitive in the market.
- Assist in organizing and executing brand and marketing initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with overall business goals.
- Maintain schedule for marketing initiatives, including project management and tracking assignments.
- Conduct market research to analyze competitor activity and identify new potential customer segments.
- Develop tools and methods for collecting customer data, such as surveys, opinion polls, and questionnaires. Hours: Tuesday - Thursday 8am - 5pm

- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic understanding of marketing principles, product management, and sales strategies.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines while handling competing priorities.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with an ability to handle a variety of tasks efficiently.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with the ability to troubleshoot and address challenges proactively.
- Strong team player with a positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and tools.
Education and Experience
Requirements
:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
- 1-3 years of experience in marketing, sales, or a related field, or equivalent academic background.
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with inventory management software or CRM systems is an asset.
- Familiarity with market research techniques and customer data collection tools is a plus.
