We are currently seeking a Body Shop Technician to join our growing team! This full time position will be responsible for work on a variety of vehicles including light, medium, or heavy-duty trucks in addition to passenger vehicles. Essential Duties: * Determine areas and extent of damage * Remove damaged parts to be repaired and replace as necessary * Ensure proper parts are ordered and received * Prep vehicle for body repair work * Repair vehicle per estimate and according to manufacturer standards * High quality spray application of primers, sealers, basecoats, and clearcoats * Working closely with prep staff and other painters to meet work demands as a team * Invisible basecoat color blending * Application of 2 and 3 stage colors * Produce sprayed finishes with little or no dirt and a consistent gloss and texture matching the OEM finish without the need to sand and buffer Qualifications: * Must be highly focused on providing an industry-leading customer experience * High School Diploma or equivalent required * Work well with others * Prior body shop experience is helpful * Prior experiences might include: Automotive Body Technician, Painter, Frame Rack Technician, Collision Repair, Fiberglass Technician, Metal and Alignment Technician * Must have an eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently * Valid driver's license required * Ability to pass background check, MVR, & drug screen required Benefits Include: * Great pay in a friendly, professional environment * Customer focused and friendly co-workers * Career stability in a growing industry * Medical, dental, vision insurance * Accident and cancer insurance * Disability and life insurance * Matching company 401(k), fully vested in 4 years * 2 weeks paid vacations on first anniversary * 2 PTO days after 90 days of employment * 6 paid holidays * Tool and boot allowance * Company provided uniforms General Truck Sales is a state-of-the-art commercial truck dealership that is fast-paced and industry, customer, and employee focused!
