Full description of the position

We are looking for a results-driven and personable Salesman to join our dealership team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about cars, skilled in sales techniques, and committed to delivering outstanding customer service. This position involves assisting customers in finding the right vehicle, explaining financing options, and ensuring a seamless buying experience while supporting the dealership's daily operations. Key Responsibilities: Sales & Customer Service: * Greet and assist customers as they enter the dealership showroom or lot. * Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate vehicle options based on preferences and budget. * Present, demonstrate, and test-drive vehicles with prospective buyers. * Guide customers through the purchasing process. * Follow up with potential and previous customers to nurture long-term relationships. * Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets. Day-to-Day Operational Duties: * Maintain a clean and organized office and outdoor lot. * Ensure all vehicles are properly tagged, priced, and fueled. * Monitor inventory levels and communicate with management regarding stock needs. * Assist with vehicle check-ins, transportation, inspections, and test drive preparations. * Update and maintain CRM systems with accurate customer information and sales progress. * Participate in dealership meetings, product training, and promotional events. Administrative & Reporting: * Complete all paperwork related to sales transactions accurately and timely. * Prepare daily activity and sales reports for management review. * Stay informed on industry trends, new vehicle models, and competitor offerings. Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree is a plus). * Previous automotive sales or customer service experience preferred. * Strong communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills. * A valid driver's license with a clean driving record. * Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. * Basic computer literacy (experience with dealership software is a plus). Physical Requirements: * Ability to stand or walk for extended periods. * Must be able to move and drive various vehicles. * Lifting or moving up to 50 lbs. Why Join Us?
