Overview We are seeking a motivated and experienced Retail Associate to lead the day- to-day operations of our floral and gift shop. This position plays a key role in creating a warm, inviting atmosphere for customers while driving sales and ensuring operational excellence. Responsibilities * Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs. * Operate cash registers and Point of Sale (POS) systems accurately. * Process transactions efficiently while ensuring customer satisfaction. * Assist in organizing merchandise displays to enhance the shopping experience. * Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding inventory and customer feedback. * Provide knowledgeable answers to customer inquiries about products and promotions. * Stay up-to-date with floral, gift, and retail industry trends. Identify and propose new product lines, services, or business opportunities to enhance the shop's offerings. Requirements * Proven retail management experience, preferably in a floral, boutique, or gift-related environment. * Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively. * Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash registers. * Comfortable talking to customers on the phone. * Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated. * Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as needed. * Flexibility to work additional hours during holidays and peak seasons Join us in creating a welcoming environment where customers feel valued, and help us drive sales through excellent service!
