Harrodsburg Tire & Automotive is looking for a Tire and Auto Service Salesperson who will be an integral part of our team! This position involves: * having a working knowledge of tire sizing and brands * being mechanically inclined and in tune with automotive technology * interaction with customers at the service counter and on the phone having a positive and friendly attitude * quoting tires and automotive repairs * writing up customer concerns on a work order using shop software * having the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment effectively managing open service orders * ordering parts and management of vendor invoices including returns and warranty credits * assisting in inventory management * maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction with the ability to handle customer complaints * standing for long periods, some heavy lifting, and being detail-oriented REQUIRED Experience and Skills: * Retail Tire Sales Experience * Automotive Repair Knowledge * Computer Proficiency * Proficient Math Skills and Sound Judgment * Excellent People Skills for Customer Service * Valid Driver's License at All Times with a Clean Driving Record Benefits: * Bonus Incentive Based on Store Performance * Two Weeks' Paid Vacation per Year * Paid Major Holidays * Group Health and Dental Insurance * Employee Discount Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $15.00 per hour Benefits: * Dental insurance * Employee discount * Health insurance * Paid time off Schedule: * 10 hour shift * Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
