Overview We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Kitchen Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming clients' kitchen visions into reality by providing innovative design solutions that meet their needs and preferences. You will work closely with clients to understand their requirements, create functional layouts, and select materials that enhance the overall aesthetic of the kitchen space. Duties * Collaborate with clients to gather information about their kitchen design preferences and requirements. * Utilize 2020 design software and Sketchup to create detailed kitchen layouts and 3D renderings. * Present design concepts to clients, incorporating feedback and making necessary adjustments. * Manage client accounts throughout the design process, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction. * Negotiate pricing and terms with clients while maintaining a focus on quality service. * Maintain accurate records of project specifications, materials used, and timelines. * Assist in cash handling transactions related to design services and product sales. * Apply retail math skills to provide accurate estimates and manage budgets effectively. Skills * Proficiency in 2020 design software for creating detailed designs. * Strong ability to build relationships with clients through effective account management. * Excellent selling skills to promote design services and products. * Experience in cash handling procedures for transactions. * Ability to maintain organized project documentation throughout the design process. * Proficient in Sketchup for creating visual representations of designs. * Strong negotiation skills to ensure favorable outcomes for both clients and the company. * Solid understanding of retail math principles for budgeting and cost estimation. * Basic math skills for calculations related to measurements and material quantities.
