Overview

We are hiring a Call Center Lending Representative to join our high- performance mortgage intake team. In this role, you'll be the first voice clients hear -- your primary responsibility will be to ask prequalifying questions, gather basic information, and determine if the client is a potential fit for mortgage services. This position does not involve quoting rates or discussing loan programs -- it's all about asking the right questions, listening closely, and setting up the next step with our licensed loan officers.

Compensation

• $16/hour base pay
• Plus commission bonuses (up to $2,000/month based on qualified lead submissions)
• Clear growth path into sales, processing, or other licensed roles available for high performers

Key Responsibilities

• Answer inbound and make outbound calls to prospective mortgage clients
• Ask scripted, prequalifying questions to assess basic loan eligibility
• Record lead details accurately in CRM
• Schedule follow-up calls or appointments with licensed Loan Officers
• Ensure all intake steps comply with Fair Housing and lending regulations
• Work closely with the loan team to hand off qualified leads for next steps
