Full description of the position

UMC is a world-leading semiconductor foundry that delivers industry-leading technology. UMC also offers value-added services such as extensive IP resources, design libraries & full front-end & backend support. Location: Sunnyvale, CA Position: Account Director of Sales

Responsibilities

:

  • Leads, manages and motivates Account Managers to execute and exceed assigned BP for profitable wafer sales volume and objectives (ASP/volume/TO/BD)
  • Coaches and provides required mentorship to Account Managers to produce high-level, sophisticated business strategies beyond day-to-day tactics
  • Acts as internal and external point of escalation to tackle issues as they arise
  • Understands the customers' business, markets, end customers and their business strategy
  • Develops and manages short term & long term forecasting of customer tape outs and customer volume demand to ensure consistency and accuracy
  • Identifies risk relative to customer business and loading and develop risk mitigation plan
  • Monitors and manages accounts' plans, reviews and aligns with sales management
  • Negotiates and manages price structure ASP and business agreements
  • Stay on top of material management including wafer starts, WIP Holds & Release, RMA and Excursions, Substrate Procurement, Backend Solution Management
  • Communicates and shares market intelligence internally to influence future business strategy
  • Monitors ROI through company measurement system
  • Business Development:
  • Identifies and develops strategic roadmap for new products to expand revenue
  • Coordinates and prepares for customer meetings, documents meeting minutes and action items, follows up to closure
Requirements

: Bachelor degree or above major in Electrical Engineering Chemistry/Physics/Material Science or related disciplines Minimum 10 years related work experience in semiconductor industry

  • Demonstrates strong management / leadership / interpersonal skills, initiative, adaptability, planning and organizational skills, and financial analytical ability
  • Attention to detail, analytical with strong logical thinking
  • Excellent customer orientation and excellent communication skills (writing and presentation)
  • Capability to lead a cross-functional team to execute projects in a fast paced environment
  • Record of consistently exceeding expectations and sales results We offer competitive compensation & benefit package. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $150,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
