Overview

: The Technical Sales & Service Representative is responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient performance of PPG products within the customer//'s operations. This role involves monitoring systems and processes, collecting and maintaining data, conducting audits, and providing technical support in an automotive assembly plant environment. The position requires problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of both PPG and customer organizations.

Key Responsibilities

:

• Monitor systems and processes to ensure optimal performance.
• Perform data collection and maintenance for technical evaluations.
• Utilize color and appearance instrumentation to assess product quality.
• Measure paint film thickness and properties to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Conduct vehicle audits to identify and resolve any issues.
• Initiate problem-solving resolutions and provide technical guidance.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and customer representatives to address technical concerns.

Work Environment

:

• This role operates within an automotive assembly plant environment.
• The position is based at the Stellantis Paint Shop in Toledo, Ohio.

Qualifications

& Skills:

• 3-5 years of experience in a technical setting or automotive assembly plant environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Waterborne basecoat, Solventborne clearcoat, Powder, and Electrocoat technology is preferred.
• Strong computer skills, analytical skills, and attention to detail. Educational

• Required: High school diploma and related work experience.
• Desired: College degree in Chemistry, General Science, or a related discipline.
