Criminal Background Check and Drug Test are Required Job Title:*Technical Sales & Service Representative Work Location:*3800 Stickney Avenue, Toledo, OH 43608 Employment Type: * Contract Duration: 1 Year (W2) Shift Schedule: * 2nd Shift: 5:00 PM - 3:00 AM (10-hour shifts) * Weekend overtime may be required Job Overview: The Technical Sales & Service Representative is responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient performance of PPG products within the customer//'s operations. This role involves monitoring systems and processes, collecting and maintaining data, conducting audits, and providing technical support in an automotive assembly plant environment. The position requires problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of both PPG and customer organizations. Key Responsibilities: * Monitor systems and processes to ensure optimal performance. * Perform data collection and maintenance for technical evaluations. * Utilize color and appearance instrumentation to assess product quality. * Measure paint film thickness and properties to ensure compliance with specifications. * Conduct vehicle audits to identify and resolve any issues. * Initiate problem-solving resolutions and provide technical guidance. * Communicate effectively with internal teams and customer representatives to address technical concerns. Work Environment: * This role operates within an automotive assembly plant environment. * The position is based at the Stellantis Paint Shop in Toledo, Ohio. Qualifications & Skills: * 3-5 years of experience in a technical setting or automotive assembly plant environment. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Experience with Waterborne basecoat, Solventborne clearcoat, Powder, and Electrocoat technology is preferred. * Strong computer skills, analytical skills, and attention to detail. Educational Requirements: * Required: High school diploma and related work experience. * Desired: College degree in Chemistry, General Science, or a related discipline.
