BJ Pawn is looking for highly qualified individual to join our team. Experience in the pawn industry is not required. As a pawnbroker you will ensure high levels of customer service by greeting, engaging and interacting with customers to initiate sales and loan activity. General duties and responsibilities: * Greet and interact with all customers to determine their individual needs and recommend appropriate financial solutions * Perform open/close procedures * Keep sales floor clean, stocked, and maintain display of merchandise * Perform sales and loan transactions * Effectively communicate to customers the legal aspects of the pawn and buy transactions Minimum Qualifications: * High school diploma or GED(Preferred but not required) * Minimum 18 years of age * Must be Computer literate * Cash handling experience * 1 year customer service experience or retail (Preferred but not required) * Computer literate * Outgoing and energetic personality * Ability to multi-task Physical Requirements: * Must be able to lift 50 pounds * Continuous standing required * Frequent walking, reaching, bending * Occasional climbing of ladder Benefit Conditions: * Waiting period may apply * Only full-time employees eligible Work Includes * Saturdays 8am-1pm Paid Training: * Yes Pay frequency: * Every other week Management: * Store Manager Employees working per shift: * 5 or fewer This Job Is: * A job for which military experienced candidates are encouraged to apply * Open to applicants who do not have a high school diploma/GED * Open to applicants who do not have a college diploma Work Remotely * No Job Type: Full-time Pay: $11.50 - $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Employee discount * Paid time off Shift: * Day shift Application Question(s): * Do you know what a Pawn is?
