IF AD SALES WERE EASY, EVERYBODY WOULD BE DOING IT. But they're not, because advertising sales takes a special SKILL and unique DETERMINATION...and that's what we are looking for today. TheHomeMag, publisher of 110 Million magazines in over 70 US locations, is searching for an Outside Sales & Marketing representative in the Greater New Orleans & Northshore area to pursue business development with new and current advertising clients. Full-time, direct-hire opportunity with a guaranteed base starting at $50K annually. This position is a commission + role and on average a Sales and Marketing Executive in TheHomeMag earns over $80K+ annually. My Duties and Responsibilities in this position are: * Meet or exceed personal sales goals and expectations. * Coordinate and conduct discovery and sales meetings with prospective clients. * Discuss advertising requirements and our products & services with each client and prospect. * Generate a stream of new prospects to backfill your sales funnel and to grow your personal book of business. * Maintain regular contact between the client and TheHomeMag and ensure communication flows timely and accurately. * Secure new business every Issue by actively recruiting new prospects in all categories. * Maintain your current client base and be an advertising advisor. * Maintain TheHomeMag's proprietary Contact Management System daily and accurately. I will Achieve the following Results in this position: * Grow my local magazine every Issue per established goals. * Attain the defined Page Rate Targets per established goals. * Attain In-Book Targets (pages, clients, revenue) per established goals. * Attain Accessory Sales Targets (inserts) per established goals. * Control delinquent payments and bad debt per company standards. * Achieve a minimum average of one (1) in-person New Client presentation daily.
