Job Title: Technical Sales Representative Location: Colorado Springs, CO (Onsite) Travel Requirement: 50%-70% (local and national travel) Employment Type: Direct Hire Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:00 PM or 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Level: Entry to Mid-Level (2-5 years experience) Compensation: * Base Salary: $65K-$80K (based on experience) * On-Target Earnings (OTE): Up to $120K/year * Commission Structure: Salary + commission (no additional bonuses, but top performers can exceed expectations) Job Overview: We're seeking a Technical Sales Representative to support our growing product line of gas price signage and display solutions within the petroleum and convenience store market. This is a full-cycle, B2B sales role focused on selling manufactured technical products --not retail or distribution. Candidates must have prior , electronic, or manufactured products and be comfortable interacting with everyone from operators to C-level stakeholders. The ideal candidate may have started in manufacturing or engineering and transitioned into sales. This position is hands-on, travel-heavy, and performance-driven--perfect for someone passionate about technical products and building customer relationships. Top Requirements: * 2 -5 years of outside sales experience in manufacturing, electrical, or electronics (no retail or reseller experience). * Must be local to Colorado Springs, CO or open to relocation. * Experience selling technical, manufactured products (preferably not through a distributor). * Strong communicator who can sell value and quality , not just price. * Confident and personable--able to build relationships and close deals with customers and executives. Educational Requirement: * High school diploma required. * Engineering, electrical, or technical degree is a strong plus , but not mandatory. Key Responsibilities (Condensed to 5 Core Points): * Manage and grow a B2B customer base by selling gas price signage solutions--through cold calling, lead generation, in-person meetings, and trade shows. * Conduct needs assessments and present technical product specifications and value propositions to decision-makers and influencers. * Handle the full sales cycle including quoting, pricing, contract prep, order processing, and scheduling customer training as needed. * Serve as the primary point of contact during post-sale support--ensuring successful implementation, issue resolution , and ongoing relationship management. * Maintain CRM records (e.g., NetSuite), prepare call sheets and KPIs, and attend customer events and industry tradeshows. Additional Responsibilities Include: * Assist in marketing and branding initiatives as needed. * Participate in trade show seasons and networking events throughout the year. * Prepare and manage contracts and pricing proposals using standard templates and company guidelines. * Document all post-implementation risks, issues, and resolutions. * Lead product training for new and existing accounts, as needed.
