Overview Bricks & Minifigs, the ultimate toy store for LEGO enthusiasts, is seeking a friendly and passionate Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining store presentation, and helping our guests find the perfect sets, minifigures, and LEGO accessories. Responsibilities * Greet and assist customers, providing knowledgeable advice about products and helping to create a memorable shopping experience. * Assist customers in making purchases, including ringing up sales at the register and suggesting additional products or sets to enhance their collection. * Operate cash registers and POS systems accurately, processing sales transactions efficiently. * Stay informed about the latest LEGO releases, trends, and rare items to effectively assist customers and answer their questions. * Maintain a clean and organized store environment, ensuring shelves are stocked and displays are appealing. * Assist with inventory checks and with restocking merchandise as required. * Help with in-store events and activities, such as building contests, LEGO trade events, and birthday parties, ensuring they run smoothly and are enjoyable for all attendees. Qualifications * Passion for LEGO and knowledge of various sets, minifigures, and accessories. * Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred. * Proficiency in operating cash registers and POS systems is a plus. * Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. * Ability to perform basic retail math calculations for accurate sales reporting. * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. * A positive attitude, good work ethic, and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role. * Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
