The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service while effectively managing stock and cash handling duties. Responsibilities * Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations. * Demonstrate product features through effective product demos to enhance customer interest and drive sales. * Manage stock levels, ensuring that products are well-displayed and readily available for customers. * Operate cash registers efficiently, handling cash transactions accurately and responsibly. * Utilize retail math skills to assist in inventory management and sales reporting. * Supervise junior staff members as needed, providing guidance and support in daily operations. * Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization within the sales area. * Exhibit excellent phone etiquette when responding to customer inquiries or concerns. Qualifications * Previous experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred but not required. * Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail in financial transactions. * Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers. * Familiarity with retail math concepts is a plus. * Ability to supervise and motivate team members in a fast-paced setting. * Experience with product demonstrations is beneficial for showcasing merchandise effectively.
