Full description of the position

We are looking for someone that will be responsible for providing financial and administrative services in an effective and efficient manner to ensure timely and accurate payments and reporting for job costing and general ledger. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following: * Accounts Payable Tasks * Reconciling vendor statements. * Monitoring that vendor invoices are processed timely. * Verify that checks are being cut timely. * Guarantee that net term requirements are met. Accounts Receivable Tasks * Managing customer aging report. * New customer setup. Other General Tasks * Review prime contracts during customer setup and identify contract language related to rentals and sales, including fair market value rules. * Manage local and national service contracts (fencing, portable toilets, dumpsters, trailers, temp labor). * Review and approve corporate purchasing card transactions and receipts. * Review employee timesheets. * Misc. Administrative tasks. Required Skills: * Experience with Quickbooks required. * Experience with Construction Software required. * Excellent communication skills. * Proficiency in MS Office. * Detailed oriented and well organized with attention to detail. * Positive interpersonal skills and strong work ethic. * Ability to work in both a team environment and independently. * Working knowledge of construction projects. * Knowledge of construction project contract language preferred. * 3-5 years of accounting experience preferred.
