We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Account Executive to join our team and grow our relationships with designers, architects, and builders in the market. Job Description: As an Account Executive , you will be the face of Lyteworks responsible for cultivating and expanding relationships with designers, builders, and other industry professionals. Your primary focus will be on driving sales, providing personalized service, and offering tailored solutions to meet the unique needs of our design and construction clients. You will work in the field, meeting clients on-site, at design studios, and attending trade events to promote our brand and product offerings. Responsibilities: * Develop and maintain strong relationships with interior designers, architects, builders, and contractors in the region. * Generate new business opportunities by proactively reaching out to design firms, builders, and project managers. * Conduct in-person meetings and presentations to showcase our lighting and furniture collections, providing customized solutions to meet client needs. * Provide expert guidance on product selection, finishes, and design compatibility for both residential and commercial projects. * Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote the brand and build connections. * Collaborate with the showroom team to ensure clients' orders are processed smoothly and their expectations are met. * Track sales goals, provide regular reports on progress, and adjust strategies to meet targets. * Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, product innovations, and competitors' offerings. * Ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction by addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. Requirements: * 3+ years of experience in outside sales, preferably in the design, construction, or home decor industry (lighting or furniture experience is a plus). * Strong network of contacts within the design, construction, and builder communities. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. * Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively. * A passion for design, with a deep understanding of lighting, furniture, and interior design concepts. * Ability to develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets. * Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to provide creative solutions for clients. * Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce experience is a plus). * A valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to client locations.
