The High Point (NC) Rockers of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball are looking for an energetic and motivated individual to join the team as a SEASONAL TICKET SALES ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE. This seasonal parttime, entry level position is an opportunity to break into the sports world and set a path for advancement and success. This position focuses on the responsibility of actively prospecting for season tickets, mini-plans, group packages and corporate partners. The HIGH POINT ROCKERS are an independent, minor league baseball team and plays at Truist Point in revitalized downtown High Point, North Carolina. Located in the Piedmont Triad region of North Carolina, the Rockers are operated by the High Point Downtown Stadium Foundation, a registered 501c3 non-profit. The team also shares the multi-purpose facility with the Carolina Core FC, a member of MLS NextPro soccer. JOB REQUIREMENTS * Effectively promote and sell tickets, group packages, and upgrades for Rockers home games and other events at Truist Point to Renewal Accounts and New Customers. * Generate sales through outbound telephone calls, outside appointments and other communication methods. * Develop referrals and leads through networking, cold calling, prospecting, and other techniques. * Reach and exceed weekly, monthly, and yearly sales goals. * Retain and maximize a portfolio of Rockers clients, including but not limited to: Season Ticket Holders, Corporate Partners and Group Leaders. * Maintain and produce accurate reports regarding sales, appointments, and prospecting calls. * Participate in outside events, promotions, client entertainment and other activities as required. * Work and perform assigned responsibilities during home games, community events, and any other event taking place at Truist Point. * Provide superior customer service in a timely and efficient manner. * Attend and contribute to weekly sales team meetings. * Communicate across all areas of the organization including Box Office, Promotions, Marketing, Public Relations, Community Events, Operations, etc. * Other duties as assigned. * Position is expected to work Monday through Friday in the office and also baseball games and select other stadium events until end of September. Maximum of 32 hours per work week. JOB QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelors Degree in Business, Sport Management, Sales, Marketing or related field preferred. * Experience and desire to excel in sales a plus. * Minimum of one (1) year of proven sales experience in sports or entertainment industry preferred. * Ability to work as both an individual and team member to achieve sales goals. * Ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and achieve objectives. * Strong planning and organizational skills a must. * Skilled in Microsoft Office Programs. * Experience with a CRM program, specifically Hub Spot, is a plus. * Knowledge of sports, specifically baseball, a definite plus. COMPENSATION/BENEFITS * Seasonal, parttime exempt position * Monthly stipend paid of $2000 month; work no more than 32 hours per week. * Commission earned on sales. * Bonus structure determined annually. * Position will be evaluated for fulltime status prior to completion of term. Position expected to start in May 2025 and run through September 2025.
