Job Title: Bilingual Interpreter / Jr. Sales Representative Location: Greensboro, NC Division: PE Division - Battery Group Salary: $45k-$50k

About the Role

A distributor of industrial machinery and provider of installation services is seeking a Bilingual Interpreter / Jr. Sales Representative to support its PE Division in Greensboro, NC. This opportunity is ideal for a bilingual (Japanese/English) professional interested in joining a dynamic team focused on supporting clients in the automotive sector. This position begins with a focus on interpreting for a major client, Toyota Manufacturing North America (TMNA) , and will evolve into a Jr. Sales role. The successful candidate will gain valuable insight into industrial projects and develop a strong understanding of the company's offerings to effectively support sales efforts in the future.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional Japanese-English interpretation during client meetings, site visits, and technical discussions.
• Facilitate project communications between internal teams and clients, ensuring clarity and collaboration.
• Engage in learning the company's products and services to transition into a Jr. Sales role.
• Travel to client job sites (approximately 30%) to observe production lines, gather information, and contribute to solution development.
• Maintain professionalism and cultural sensitivity, especially in alignment with Japanese business practices.

Requirements

• Bilingual fluency in Japanese and English (spoken and written).
• Minimum 6 months ' experience in a professional work setting.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 30%.
• Cultural awareness and understanding of Japanese business etiquette.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualities
