Responsibilities * Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store. * Process transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system, ensuring efficient cash handling. * Engage with customers to promote products through effective upselling techniques. * Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits. * Maintain an organized and well-stocked sales floor by restocking shelves and managing inventory levels. * Supervise junior staff members, providing guidance and support as needed. * Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction. * Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain store standards. Skills * Proficient in cash handling and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing. * Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred. * Strong upselling abilities to enhance customer experience and increase sales volume. * Familiarity with product demos to effectively showcase merchandise. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for engaging with customers. * Ability to supervise and motivate team members in a retail setting. * Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills for maintaining stock levels and store presentation.
