SALES CONSULTANT JOB DESCRIPTION A Slyman Bros Sales Consultant is responsible for assisting customers throughout the appliance buying process. Their duties include greeting customers when they enter the showroom, recommending correct appliances using expert product knowledge and assisting the customer 's needs after the sale. In addition, other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing excellent customer service, assisting with customer issues and continuing product knowledge trainings to ensure expert level expertise. Sales Consultant Responsibilities * Greeting customers upon arrival to the showroom * Maintaining expert-level knowledge about Slyman Bros product offerings * Ensuring customers are recommended the best products for their needs based on probing questions/fact-finding conversations * Recommending add-on products related to customers' original product request to enrich the shopping experience * Explaining product features, correct product use, designed product function to achieve the best results * Communicating with installers to ensure proper and seamless product installation * Accepting and processing orders through Slyman Bros point of sale * Working with Showroom Manager and Customer Experience team to resolve customer issues * Promoting special sales, offers and Slyman "Plan To Sell" items leading to increased profits and efficiency * Recommending Mulberry Product Protection Plans to enhance customer's after-the-sale service experience Requirements * High school diploma or equivalent * Excellent sales and communication skills * Self-motivated * Friendly and strong commitment to customer service * Excellent Verbal and written communication skills * Interpersonal skills * Ability to stand for extended periods * Ability to lift merchandise weighing up to 20 pounds * Basic math and accounting skills Job Type: Full-time Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year Benefits: * Dental insurance * Employee discount * Flexible schedule * Health insurance * Paid time off * Paid training * Retirement plan * Vision insurance Compensation Package: * Bonus opportunities * Commission only * Commission pay * Monthly bonus * Performance bonus * Quarterly bonus * Uncapped commission * Yearly bonus Schedule: * 8 hour shift Ability to Commute: * Saint Louis, MO 63109 (Required) Ability to Relocate: * Saint Louis, MO 63109: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
