Job Overview Job Title: Business Development Representative Department: Sales Reports To: Business Development Representative Team Leader Summary: We are seeking a Business Development Representative to join our growing team! You'll be the engine driving our sales pipeline, identifying, and qualifying leads through prospecting, while also becoming a champion for our existing clients. You'll become an expert at filtering leads using Fasteners Direct's ideal customer profile. This ensures you focus on prospects most likely to convert, maximizing the sales team's efficiency. * Develop Partnerships with Potential and Existing Clients while Building Rapport: You're more than just a lead generator; you're a relationship builder. You'll: * Identify potential clients: Actively seek out new businesses that could benefit from Fasteners Direct's solutions. * Nurture existing relationships: Stay connected with existing clients, identify upsell opportunities, and keep them happy. * Focus on rapport building: Develop genuine connections with potential and existing clients, fostering trust and long-term partnerships. * Present the Fasteners Direct Value Proposition and Answer Client Questions with Confidence: You'll be the first impression for many potential customers. You'll need to: * Become a System expert: Gain a deep understanding of Fasteners Direct's offerings and how we solve client problems. * Craft compelling presentations: Develop clear, concise presentations that showcase the value proposition and resonate with specific client needs. * Master the art of Q &A: Prepare for and confidently answer client questions, demonstrating your knowledge and building trust. * Schedule Phone, Zoom, and In-person Appointments for Client Success Consultant: You'll efficiently schedule meetings (phone, Zoom, or in-person) to connect them with the Client Success Consultant, ensuring a smooth handoff and maximizing conversion opportunities. * Manage Sales Lead Pipeline through Fasteners Direct's CRM: Fostering the lead generation process, utilizing Fasteners Direct's CRM to: * Track lead activity: Record all interactions with potential and existing clients, providing valuable insights for future efforts. * Nurture leads: Move leads through the sales funnel using targeted communication and nurturing campaigns. * Maintain data accuracy: Ensure your CRM data is up-to-date and organized for optimal lead management. * Track and Report on Sales Activities and KPIs: Data is key! You'll: * Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs): Track metrics like outreach, lead generation volume, lead qualification rate, and appointment setting success. * Generate insightful reports: Regularly analyze your activities and results, identify areas for improvement, and share valuable insights with the sales team. Qualifications: * Academic Background: A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a relevant field equips you with a strong foundation for success. * Sales Experience: 1-2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a related field demonstrate your understanding of building relationships and achieving targets. * Industry Knowledge: A strong understanding of the fastener distribution industry is a major plus.
