Overview: The Assistant Account Manager is a key support role within the Commercial Lines department. Responsible for various administrative tasks, this position is vital in ensuring efficient account management and exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing top- notch support to our clients. Essential Duties and Responsibilities 1. Policy Administration * Assist with policy renewals and endorsements. * Preparing and sending policy documents to customers, ISMs, and carriers. * Maintain accurate documentation at all times. * Processing/Issuing COI (certificate of insurance) requests. 2. Claims * Assist with claim filing, documentation, and reviews as needed. * Provide claim status updates to ISMs and Insureds. 3. Billing * Process payments from ISMs and Insureds. * Handle billing inquiries for accounts by contacting the company bill departments to answer questions from ISMs and Insureds. * Notify ISMs of missing premium payments, provide invoices, and follow up on payments. 4. Audits * Follow up on missing audits with ISMs and Insured. 5. Renewals * Generating renewal comparison when needed. * Set up Indio so the account managers can send renewal applications to insureds. * Follow up with ISMs and customers on additional information needed by underwriting. * Follow up with company underwriters on quotes for Account Managers and Underwriters. 6. Organization * Utilize Asana and Outlook for task organization and communication with Account Managers and Underwriters. 7. Utilization of various platforms * Management system (e.g., Epic) * Task management system (e.g., Asana) * Company quoting systems. Additional Duties and Responsibilities * Quoting. * Policy changes. Skills and Qualifications * Minimum 3 years of experience in the insurance industry (commercial experience preferred). * Current Colorado P&C License Required (current California P&C license a plus, but not required). * Proficiency in insurance industry software (e.g., policy administration systems, quoting platforms, CRM tools). * Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and other Microsoft applications. * Strong organizational and time management skills. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Detailed oriented. About the Role The Assistant Account Manager is an essential role in the efficiency of the Commercial Lines Department. Customer service is a top priority for the department, and we strive to provide exceptional service to our ISMs and Insureds. The Assistant Account Manager must be able to multi-task and take on additional responsibilities to ensure that the Account Managers and Underwriters can perform their duties and responsibilities to the highest level. Salary Range * $64,800 to $68,000 (compensation dependent on experience) Job Type * Full Time, in office. * Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM MST.
