Full description of the position

Duties * Greet showroom customers and answer phones with a sense of urgency, maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor * Answer customer inquiries through personal knowledge or getting assistance from someone who is more knowledgeable * Receive shipments, ensure receipt accuracy, stock items using the First in, First Out method (FIFO). * Ensure orders are completed efficiently, accurately, and on time * Package and prepare shipments for delivery and coordinate pickup * Write out orders and sales receipts to be submitted to Administrative Assistant for accounting * Keep work area and shipping and receiving organized and neat * Monitor inventory stock levels and notify Purchasing Agent of urgent restock requirements * Ensure all incoming orders are correct and notify Purchasing Agent of any shortages or damages * Maintain sufficient knowledge of products to answer employee and customer questions * Ensure all products are represented on showroom floor and notify Purchasing Agent of product outages Requirements - Proven experience as a sales associate, customer service position, or relevant role - Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work - Attention to detail and problem-solving skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task - Must be comfortable lifting up to 70lbs This is a business that prides itself in being a fun and relaxed work environment and offers the following benefits: * Health Insurance and IRA * Performance-based bonuses and incentives * Paid Vacation * Paid Holidays * Consistent Monday through Friday Schedule * Paid TriMet Hop Fastpass available Note: The job description does not contain any contact information such as email or phone number.
