Full description of the position

Duties

• Greet showroom customers and answer phones with a sense of urgency, maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor
• Answer customer inquiries through personal knowledge or getting assistance from someone who is more knowledgeable
• Receive shipments, ensure receipt accuracy, stock items using the First in, First Out method (FIFO).
• Ensure orders are completed efficiently, accurately, and on time
• Package and prepare shipments for delivery and coordinate pickup
• Write out orders and sales receipts to be submitted to Administrative Assistant for accounting
• Keep work area and shipping and receiving organized and neat
• Monitor inventory stock levels and notify Purchasing Agent of urgent restock requirements
• Ensure all incoming orders are correct and notify Purchasing Agent of any shortages or damages
• Maintain sufficient knowledge of products to answer employee and customer questions
• Ensure all products are represented on showroom floor and notify Purchasing Agent of product outages

Requirements

- Proven experience as a sales associate, customer service position, or relevant role - Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work - Attention to detail and problem-solving skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task - Must be comfortable lifting up to 70lbs This is a business that prides itself in being a fun and relaxed work environment and offers the following benefits:
