Position Summary We are seeking a dynamic Sales and Business Development Representative to drive revenue growth and expand our client base. This role involves managing an established sales portfolio, developing strategic sales initiatives, and fostering strong relationships within the sports, entertainment, and recreation sectors. Key Responsibilities Sales Strategy & Planning: * Develop and execute sales plans to meet revenue targets. * Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive insights. * Align sales strategies with business goals and collaborate across departments. Client Relationship Management: * Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients. * Understand client requirements and provide tailored solutions. * Negotiate contracts, close deals, and follow up via in-person meetings or video conferences. * Promote Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion strategies in client engagements. Business Development: * Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base. * Conduct cold calls, emails, and networking to generate leads. * Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions. * Work with local schools and universities to explore partnership opportunities. * Collaborate with marketing to create effective promotional materials. Sales Reporting & Analysis: * Track sales metrics, analyze performance, and adjust strategies accordingly. * Prepare regular sales reports for management. * Ensure alignment with overall sales strategies to increase customer satisfaction. Requirements & Qualifications * Proven sales experience (3-5 years) in the transportation, tourism, or hospitality industry. * Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques, including cold calling. * Strong organizational and time management skills. * Goal-oriented mindset with a passion for exceeding targets. * Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. * Ability to analyze data and market trends to identify business opportunities. * Class 5 driver's license with a clean abstract (past 3 years). * Multilingual skills are an asset.
